LGN Physique is Belfast based Personal Trainer John Loughran.

John is a well respected PT who focuses on physique and body building training for men and women. He has successfully coached a number of his clients in the run up to body building competitions, instilling in them, the confidence to stand on stage with other elite athletes, through a process of carefully planned workout regimes and nutrition advice.

On 21st June 2020, 14 year old Belfast boy Noah Donohoe, left his home to meet some friends.

Six days later, his naked body was found in a storm drain.

Amid allegations of a cover-up by the Police Service of Northern Ireland, Noah's mum Fiona continues her search to uncover the truth surrounding his death.

A short video I shot for London based company ‘Social-Ability’ about the installation of their Happiness Programme installation in Boyle Library, Roscommon, December 2023.

The Happiness Programme is a first-of-its-kind initiative helping to change the lives of people living with physical and cognitive challenges.

Ardmore Advertising commissioned me to produce a 10 second TV commercial for their client Nu Delhi Indian Restaurant in Belfast. The commercial was broadcast on local networks in a series of spots over Christmas and New Year 2013.

A series of short films produced in association with Belfast artist Angela Hutt. I was Director of Photography on each of these shorts, responsible for the overall look and feel of each film.

This short film documents my nephew Chris climbing Slieve Donard (Northern Ireland's highest mountain), along with his dad George and myself, on the day before he lost his youth and turned 30. It was also the hottest day of 2020 so far...

I shot this, just for fun, handheld on an iPhone 11 Pro. No gimbals were harmed making this video.

Ann & Harry are two school boys Ryan Rainey and Peter Heenan. They met at their school drama club and began writing and performing comedy sketches to their fellow pupils at De La Salle College, Belfast. 

I was the main Producer and Director of Photography on both films and was responsible for the overall look, scouting locations and final edit.

Acclaimed artist Wolfgang Buttress, designed and installed this beautiful sculpture called Rise, at the junction of Broadway and Westlink in Belfast. He had seen some of my photographs of the sculpture online and asked me if I could shoot it from the air. So, I hired a helicopter and hanging out the back doors of an R44 along with Richard Watson, we shot and filmed this amazing creation on a freezing cold evening in October 2011. 

I have trained with Ian at DW Sports Gym on Boucher Road, Belfast. He is serious about his body building and fitness and enjoys sharing his experience and knowledge with his clients. When he asked me to help him promote his business including producing a short promotional film, I jumped at the chance!
